The 2019-nCoV Antigen Rapid Test Kit is a one-step in vitro test based on immunochromatography. It is designed for the rapid qualitative determination of SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen in nasopharyngeal swab specimens. The 2019-nCoV Antigen Rapid Test Kit cannot be used as the basis for diagnosing or excluding SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Proper specimen collection, storage, and transport are critical to the performance of this assay. Samples should be tested as soon as possible after collection. Sample collection training is strongly recommended due to the importance of sample quality. The sample is taken with a swab from the nose or throat and nose. For optimal test performance, use the swabs provided in the kit.
